Monadnock Living's 2012 Get Creative! Series
My Life...My Stories
Memoir Writing in the Digital Age
Some of the most profound, personal documents of our collective history are written in the unique voice of the storyteller. In a time when digital media can quickly take the “personal” out of communicating, learn how to use your own writing style to convey the events and experiences that have shaped your life.
Classes will include guided writing, weekly assignments and examination of the work of published memoirists. Be prepared to relish in the beauty and music of language, and the many ways to bring clarity and resonance to your own story.
